I have read/heard over and over again that parenting is so hard. What do you think the hardest part about it is? I have a pyschology project due and I need to find substantial information about dismissive parenting style. All I can find so far is about three sentences worth of info all saying basically the same thing: Dismissive parents have low limits and low love. I need more substance. Things like pyschological effects (short and long [...] My and I have 2 children and things were going okay until recently and it has occured to me that we need a very detailed parenting plan that we are legally obligated to follow. Does it cost money to have an arbiter help us with the matter? Who do I talk to, what do I do? [...] I have noticed mixed signals all the time from different studies on parenting. Some say parenting has gone down and this is one reason family values have decreased. Others say single parents are teaching children more about life’s struggles. Some say the system is giving kids too much power so parents are afraid to discipline [...] How do you and your parenting partner resolve disagreements about how to discipline, or what a rule or policy should be? In particular, what do you do when you find you disagree in front of your child(ren)?
